AdAstrA announces the dramatic prices reduction for the two hi-tech TRACE MODE units with the automatic Hot redundancy (Double Force RTM) and the Adaptive PID Loops tuning (Adaptive control RTM) support. Earlier the Double Force RTM existed only in the 64000x16 I/O's version, but since TRACE MODE 5.11 release, there will be the splitting to 128-512-1024-32000x16 I/O's. Due to more flexible price policy AdAstra plans to increase sales of Double Force RTM for those system integrators who develop small scale, but critical control systems with hot redundancy. First of all the new products are focused to the petroleum, gas, electric power and chemistry industries.
The advantage of TRACE MODE is that the development of hot redundant systems is completely automated. The user just need to indicate, that the PC or SoftPLC must have a redundant node, and the system will build and fill in the appropriate database (channels base) automatically. In case of any component modification, TRACE MODE 5 updates the redundant nodes automatically. In real time the built-in hot redundancy system controls the nodes operation and in case of failure, it switches the information flows to the redundant device automatically, automatically synchronizing also the of the process logs.
TRACE MODE provides the following hot redundancy features:
- automatic sensor signal circuit redundancy;
- automatic I/O card redundancy;
- automatic network operability monitoring and switching to redundant lines;
- automatic RS232/485 bus operability monitoring and switching to redundant bus;
- automatic switching to RS232/485 if network communication fails;
- automatic hot redundancy for servers (master/slave) with switching by timeout or by any other user defined criterion;
- shock-free system restart using dump;
- automatic redundancy of archive trends and mnemonic schemes;
- automatic hot redundancy of user's calculation algorithms (FBD programs);
- automatic synchronization of archives stored on main and redundant servers;
On the TRACE MODE redundant servers the operator can work with various screens and trends independently. The prices for Adaptive control RTM are reduced to $ 500. TRACE MODE 5.11 will be available after 25.09.2002. You can obtain the free of charge development system here.
