On November 21, 2002 in Beiging (China) Advantech (Taiwan) the industry-leading PC-based hardware manufacturer and Russian software developer Adastra Research Group hold a seminar-presentation focused on the release of industrial PCs ADAM 50000 and PC-based PLCs ADAM 4500 HC, ADAM 5510 HCG. These products are the result of the OEM agreement to install AdAstra’s integrated SCADA/HMI and Softlogic system TRACE MODE on to the leading Advantech products ADAM 4000/5500, AWS.  The seminar slogan was "Advantech and Adastra allied to establish PC-Based PLC Automation Platform".
The seminar was opened by the GM's of the companies Advantech Mr Chaney Ho and Adastra Mr Lev Anzimirov, who speaks about PC-based automation market development in China and Russia. Also the presidents presented the main features of their products. After that, the representatives of both companies introduced the program on technical details and practical application of ADAM 50 000 and ADAM 4500/5510/SL/SLG.

The companies demonstrate all the devices and everyone who visited the seminar could develop the TRACE MODE based project and program the ADAM 4500/HC, ADAM 5510/HC/HCG.
According to the Chinese users TRACE MODE is considered as one of the most reliable and efficient SCADA on the Chinese market. The system offers the most powerful documentation server. The Russian SCADA has the advanced graphics and animation. 
The seminar attended more than 150 specialists from more than 120 companies. Between them large system integrators, DCS engineers and representative of large industrial companies. This show was supported by 15 Chinese professional Media.
This event was the last one in Adastra first year working program in China. Now TRACE MODE has more than 500 installations in China, the company concluded 2 OEM agreements.
According to Mr. He Li Fu, the General Manager of the Beijing-based Beijing Ru+Cn Instruments Technology Co (AdAstrA’s exclusive distributor in China) opinion the Adastra advantages are the TRACE MODE reliability and efficiency, flexible price policy and local technical support.
During the next year Adastra will apply the same strategy. The company will open the authorized training center in Beijing. As a part of social program Adastra will start to train University’s representatives free of charge. For satisfying technical and financial requests of large control engineering companies Adastra will develop a special program.

A Belgorod based AIT company (South of Russia) has successfully used TRACE MODE SCADA/HMI software to develop and to implement a batch control system for manufacturing of fodder additives. The control system has been installed in facility of TeknoFeed (Tshebekino, Belgorod area, Russia).
